A woman conceals her husband's sudden death from his wealthy family to stay in line for the inheritance, and finds herself trapped at the family's Irish castle during a string of axe murders. Francis Ford Coppola directed the film for producer Roger Corman years before The Godfather, working with a fraction of the budget he'd eventually have to spare in this debut feature.
