Join City Green and the 2026 Climate Action Collective for a community film screening of “Food and Country,” a 2024 documentary by food writer Ruth Reichl that investigates the United States food system.

The Climate Action Collective is an immersive leadership climate community for high school students interested in climate change and community activism. During their time at City Green, these students explore the connections between food, agriculture, and climate change through reading, discussions, field trips, projects, and farmwork. 

This film screening is an annual event that serves as the Climate Action Collective’s final project. The students select the film based on their interests and its connection to the theme of their year’s cohort.
