2023 Year in Review

2023 Was a year for planting seeds at the Williams Center. Here's to a fruitful future.

Under the guidance of Art Director Michael Olivo and with the help of the Williams Center team and volunteers, the theater introduced a bevy of new series and events in 2023.

Some highlights include:

  • Kicking off Art House Tuesdays in February

  • Welcoming band, This Old Engine, in March

  • Hosting the Mason Cellar’s Havana Nights Wine Tasting in April

  • Launching the Icarus Fest in June

  • Officially renaming the Williams Center for the Arts in September

  • Premiering “The Kill Room” with special guest, director Nicol Paone, in September

  • Hosted the 7th Annual ProgStock for the first time at the Williams Center in October

  • Debuting Elijah the Boy in December with his first live show

  • Debuting the film “Charlie Loves Our Band: The Story of From Good Homes” as well as a live concert by the film’s subject, band From Good Homes in December

But we couldn’t have done it without the Rutherford community. We must extend our deepest thanks and warmest regards to each and every participant and patron who made this year successful.

This has been an amazing year and we have much to look forward to in 2024 including the first Annual Rutherford Film Festival in May!

Join us in making the Williams Center the heart of the town, a center not only for entertainment but also for generation, reflection, and celebration of art and culture.
